Every time I watch these committee hearings and I see the same thing time and time and time again, I wonder the very same thing. The only conclusion I can come up with is, they all do it, they all know they do it, and while they can make a big show of things for sound bits and elections contributions, NONE of them have any serious interest in stopping the abuse of power that they all enjoy. What these seem to me is a spanking for being so careless and a warning they need to pay more attention, get better at doing this before they blow it for the rest of them. I served 26 years, went to 3 wars with 1,000 days total in my deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. I believe in this country and what we’re founded on so believe me when I tell you, I hate thinking this way. But what else can we think when such blatant, outlandish and most important of all ILLEGAL abuse is right in front of us and in fact pointed out? Yet, they all go on to bigger things after they’re done “serving” in government far more rich than they were coming in. I’ve been sickened by this for years and it never changes no matter who is in power. Party politics seems to be nothing more than a tribal distraction used to divide. If it were anything else, such as actually protecting the Constitution, you wouldn’t have to ask the question “why is nothing being done when they commit a crime?”

In the meantime her husband was trying to convince a marina, near her summer home in northern Michigan, to get his boat in to the water when she had a governor’s mandate in play not allowing Michigan residents to cease from operating their boats because, for some odd scientific reason, boating spread Covid. There’s many other incidents of her, and her administration, violating her own lockdown orders.
