When you keep selecting people from the same party over and over again you end up exactly where we are. Particularly a party that preaches accountability but has shown over and over again to be very comfortable ignoring it when it applies to them and their party.

Thank you for acknowledging that Gilbert is a curated illusion. It is a nice town but it has NEVER been special and flawless. There is a point where that fantasy actually turns you into bad people, and a bad town. I have lived in Mesa my whole life, and listened to Gilbert say again, and again that you are not like us. It was always ridiculous, and it has caused you major problems that are painful to watch...both in the 1990s and it is even worse now...and you STILL had people on this podcast that would rather talk about Mesa PD than what is happenibg in Gilbert. We are NOT perfect, but Mesa is also a MUCH BIGGER city and this wasn't happening at this level in our high schools. After watching your last few episodes and listening to the last several guests gaslight about how safe, serene, and pure Gilbert is, she is a welcome change. She actually realizes that Gilbert is a real town, with real people, and real problems just like the rest of us. It would be nice to see Gilbert grow up, drop the "we're special" mindset, and take care of solving your problems (even if those problems come from "good" families). The belief that Gilbert is "good" or "special" is the reason for the severe, "shock the senses" problems that you are dealing with AGAIN...AGAIN. There is a point where "good" families become "bad people" BECAUSE they have been elevated so high for so long. She is right, the kids learned this behavior somewhere...

I voted for Natalie D., i thought she would be wonderful for Gilbert, but sadly some people don't really want change, they want familiar, even it's not the best
