Fun fact: the scene where the actor of James held a spider, he got bitten on set and he never acted out in another movie again.

I always did enjoy the songs in this movie. I mean they aren't the best, but I enjoy hearing them every now and than.

Yeah, i thought they were cheesy, but pretty decent, compared to most cartoon music videos, 😂
James and the Giant Peach is one of my favorite childhood movies ever! I love the NC, but this is one of the few occasions where I disagree with his opinions of a movie

I think he did the best he could to explain himself, that's really as much as we can ask from him, I don't think James and the giant peach is for everyone, it's a tim burton experience, as tim burton movies are really not for everyone, it's a bit like a glove, everyone's got a different size, and this movie really is not a one size fits all glove, and it's only going to fit certain people, just like the nightmare before christmas, or corpse bride, but we appreciate it, but not everyone can fit to understand it, 🤔

Sure, I appreciate the last comments he gave and I understand one film might not be for everyone. I just find this film a charming classic all the way through 🙂

Seen once in school, sorry but it never stuck with me. I was 12 or 13 when I first saw this and I was slowly starting to not have any craps left for Disney which didn't help. What I'll say now is I don't hate this movie but I don't exactly love it either. I saw it once but it's not something I'm dying to see again.

Critic just seems to be looking for a reason to make fun of Randy Newman and his repetitive song writing.

2:47 Apparently most people hate his Lets Play of Barts Nightmare for ripping off AVGN and that the video was boring. Even he didn't like it cause it was very dated. Also originally instead of the Bum, it was Douchey McNitpick but Mike and Rob had him change it to The Bum which he agreed with.

Mr. Charlie, may I request a film review from Cinematic Venom - The Worst Thriller I've Ever Seen This film is one of the most bafflingly bad movies that destroy actual history, but everyone makes it seem like it's the best, this film review will make you laugh harder than any bad movie. This is a long video review, I'm sorry about that. Despite it's length, it will be really damn worth the film's funny experience.

Okay, I have my own James theory. You see, peaches are a symbol of lust, so this is all an allegory for his innermost sexual frustration. After his parents abandoned him, he was left all alone with his growing deviancy. He was a big fan of Spiderman, and he could do nothing but blame his parent's disappearance on his favorite villain, Rhino. His lust became unbearable, and he retreaded into a land of fantasy. This is where life turns into a roller coaster ride and his bug fetish takes over. The root cause of it being his obsession with Spiderman and Charlotte's Web, represented by the lonely spider. Eventually he gained an appreciation for other insects, but he could never truly reconcile them with his main attraction. The giant metal shark? Sexual predators coming along for a bite of Jame's succulent juiciness. Skeleton pirates? Fear of his budding homosexuality stemming from abuse by strange men showing him their "bones" and raiding his "booty". He realizes this is no way to live, and accepts his parents neglect. In the real world he can make his dream a reality, freeing the burden of the peach and liberating himself from being afraid of his taboo thoughts. In other words, this movie's deep... A deep pile of shit.
