While only the above songs are entirely in English, almost all of their songs have at least a few English words in them, and some are like half-English. So they vary it up a lot. What's genius is how (usually Miku writes the lyrics, occasionally Saiki) they will rhyme or use assonance between English and Japanese words.

Thank you for coming back to the Maids. Some of the other Maidiacs have already mentioned this was a collaboration song and the songs they do in completely in English. In regards to "Bestie" Mikey-chan did supply the opening and closing rift and some suggestions in the creative process as Kanami (lead guitar and genius composer for Band-Maid) composed this song. Lyrics done by Miku (second lead, backing vocals, rhythm guitar, main lyricist and band founder). She's is a gifted song writer. As for "Domination" and most of their other songs, it's predominantly in Japanese, but they flip back an forth with some English words sprinkled in their songs. Their portfolio is deep and diverse. You want another rocking song, try "Hate?" OLV from their 10th Anniversary Tour Finale in Yokohama Arena. For their best rock power ballad, try "Daydreaming" OMV. I may be biased as it's my favorite song....but I'm in good company as it's Kanami's favorite song to play. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘

I don't know if this is 100% true but I've heard that the lyrics to BESTIE were written about the bands relationships with each other. It DOES fit very well with this .

MISA's playing and bass tone are setting new standards... and Akane's drumming is so in-the-pocket and distinguishable... and Kanami's solo is Daydreaming masterful! The recording and mix are as enjoyable as the song and beautiful MV! And Miku’s English lyrics are heartfelt.
