I think we all know the impact Pete has on CBs and I feel like riq was missing Pete’s coaching this year

Riq was bad last year and Pete benched him just like Mike MacDonald

@ now players aren’t allowed sophmore slump after a rookie of the year type season?
@notimportant1000Күн бұрын
@@2jYetiriq actually played better per target than Patrick surtain last year. This year he’s allowed some of the least amount of separation in the league. If he gets a little more physical he’s a star

Riq just needs a bit more consistency.

You have to deal with average players at certain places on your roster and Woolen is one of those players. If we don't tolerate average here at corner, then why do we tolerate 4 below average players on the o-line?
@rivermerchant6102Күн бұрын
I'm not for keeping \ paying for Riq. Watch the SEA vs ARZ game. There was a play where he saw Kyler running his way, and he choose to ignore him and stay in coverage. I believe he made a business decision to protect his stats vs doing whats right for the team. He was 'randomly' benched the following week. There's a reason was in Pete's dog house his last year and he got benched by McDonald. He's not committed to the team 100% and he's chasing his money contract.

Riq bought his own hype. If he doesn't get it together and get some consistency he's going to be out of here.

Riq was supposed to be a project..super overachieved his rookie season..he’s still growing.

There aren’t that many elite corners this year I think I’ll give Tariq woolen a break
@spockb1186Күн бұрын
Riq, Witherspoon and 2 other rookie corners from Auburn needs to work better, and look at the ball to either break away or intercept, plus tackling tight with both arms. Need to work better on coverages.

We need a mobile QB. It's so hard to run the ball without one.

RIq I like but he isn’t big enough. Seattle needs to start thinking big guys all around and fast. Might be hard but the staff need to be more creative on their search for players moving forward. I’m telling you. All the playoff teams and dominant teams have a avg of bigger guys thru all positions and they are dynamic dogs. Not put on a show get ran over can’t turn your head around when the ball is coming timid players.

Not big enough? He's 6' 3"
@robertcann720Күн бұрын
@ I know his height…. He’s thin and doesn’t play with power. He’s fast and long yet his lower body is small. You see around the league and our team with thin CBs/safety’s get blocked/ran over/pushed back cuz they are thin guys.

@robertcann720 actually he's 6' 4"
