These national baseball guys are out of touch with how Ms ownership operates. We won’t pay for a Christian Walker, let alone Pete Alonso. We prob missed the playoffs last year because we didn’t want to pay Geno and decided a Urias/Rojas platoon would suffice. “Big” Dipoto signings were Garver and Pollock. Pete Alonso is way outta our league.

But neither Alonso nor Walker are aging. Walker is older but he just won his 3rd consecutive GG? Maybe 2 idk. Alonso in the middle of this lineup would affect how others are thrown to. They have to worry about Cal & now Pete as the mashers, leaving guys like Julio & Randy with more fastballs. We’re really going to waste an all time great pitching rotation because ownership is stupid lol. Won’t be long until Julio requests a trade and we start another rebuild. God it sucks being a mariners fan 😭

Why do these guys keep talking about Alonso, Walker like it’s realistic? Stanton literally came out and said that DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON AGING FREE AGENTS. Are they just not listening to what he’s saying?

Mariners ownership is a joke and I won't pay a dime going to one of their games until ownership proves they are willing to field a true contender. P.S. won't buy any merchandise either
