@@2pugshakur50nah President chair just like Celtics head coach. He’s still gonna have a big say in operations for Seahawks. Word is that he’s already had next head coach lined up. Which if he has a say in that, is setting a precedent for how it’s gonna be. The franchise got dropped on Jody Allen’s lap, im sure she doesn’t want the responsibility, and is handing that off to Carroll without losing ownership.

Same. There's nothing you can hate about Pete. He has also brought us the best moments of our lives as sports fans in Seattle. I'll never forget what you taught the guys (and me) Coach Carroll! I listened to as many of your press conferences after the game as I could in the past few years and there's so much to be gained on how to be a Champion. People should understand that they can be a Champion in anything, all they have to do is work for it, never give up and keep the juice flowing. I have to agree with KJ (see his podcast upload) this new generation doesn't listen. I see it at work, this is a generation that DOESN'T go home and watch the film, learn their craft and keep moving forward. Instead, they go home, play "Call of Duty" and watch TikTok. KJ called them the "Tiktok" Generation. Coach Carroll, I'll tell you that I've been able to get through to most of the the value and feeling of accomplishment of doing a job well done. That's something you've helped me do, and I'll be forever grateful for that. Thank you, you'll always be Coach Carroll to me!

Without Russell Wilson, he has a negative record. Our great wins were mostly about great defense and Wilson's ability to turn a crap keep-it-close game plan into gold. The insane amount of resources poured into the 2nd best paid defense of the league, finishing 31st DVOA, was a clear indication that any idea of competing was a fantasy. It's the team Pete built, full of dislikable figures Pete kept his hands over to save face. Also, the same arguments have been made after Holmgren left. Four seasons later, we had a pennant. If they had moved on two seasons ago and hired Mike McDaniel (who was as surefire a great HC as you could hope to find), they would compete for a SB, again.
