I’m so grateful this mysteriously showed up in my feed! I used this cradle about 6 or more yrs ago and it helped so much. Thank God I had this cranial cradle tucked away for safe keeping and this video reminded me it’s exactly what I need ... today ... getting it out right now! 2020 ... ugh. Need I say more! Lol Edited ... THANK YOU!! ❤️

I actually do Craniosacral on myself by lying on a flat surface relaxing and interlocking my fingers at either the base mid or top of skull. Some strange things happen for example my jaw races from side to side, up and down, a lot of sighing takes place, my toes move in rhythm with my jaw moving. I allow this to happen for say 20 mins. After I feel a great release, my chronic pains have lessened considerably. A bonus all round. Has anyone else tried this at all?

yes, sounds wonderful and like you've figured out how to do this on your own. I know many people who have experienced similar releases and results from doing this similar technique on themselves, using a craniocradle or receiving it from a therapist.

can you describe how exactly you position and interlock your fingers?
@jabah126
@jabah126 8 жыл бұрын
+rinarage sure. Interlock your fingers at the base/middle/top of head, though base is more effective, positioning your thumbs either side of the base of the head. You will start to feel your head throbbing, it's usually at this stage through absolute stillness and quite, that your body reacts.

Hey there! Glad you like the video, we like it too. I happened to notice the comment about using it flat surface up under the low back and sacrum, but the Cradle can be used either way.To achieve the sacral still point it needs to be points up so it can cup the coccyx. :)

Maybe you can explain for viewing what you mean by "achieve the sacral still point". We (humans) tend to have dural tension which (due to the distal dural attachment at S2) pulls the sacrum and coccyx forward, SO pressing forward on the coccyx exagerates the lesion, which can sometimes have benefit, followed by correction though! I don't know if that makes sense?

is this ok doing if you have bulging discs in your neck & back?

This is a technique I use with patients who have bulging discs in their neck and back. Bulging discs also occur in people who don't have pain and the disc is not always the cause of pain or symptoms. Much of the time it is tight muscles and tissues. If you are at all concerned please find a local physical therapist who uses manual therapy and/or myofascial release techniques to evaluate, treat and make recommendations for you.

+Team Spyderco This can help, and can reduce your pain, it's hard to know exactly without evaluating you in person what the benefits will be. generally it will help reduce your pain and symptoms and help with relaxation of the muscles. if used daily, the cranio cradle can help you relax and feel better. Fixing what's going on is up to you and the cranio cradle can be a big piece of it, or maybe what you need is something else. what you may need is some input and an evaluation/treatment with a physical therapist to know exactly what you need. $40 is much less risk than a co-pay for pain meds and the craniocradle has basically no side effects. I hope this helps.
