Had my tongue tie operation yesterday. Straight after I spent 3 hours on the phone talking, I had salmon & mash for dinner (cooled down) took ibuprofen and I’m not in much pain at all. Able to stick my tongue out and move up, down and side to side, only thing that hurts is the suction hold and the clicks but that’s expected. Id say keep the tongue moving as much as possible, this has helped me anyway. Best of luck everyone

THANK YOU!! I have looked everywhere for info on adult stretches post release. I unfortunately didn't start until day 10 post-op because I was in so much pain but now my ROM is back. Hoping to get it to better than it was before!

Make sure you get laser surgery instead of scalpel! I hear it heals better and hurts less
