I see at 8:12 you have the zipper open. That’s what I was missing. Also saw that the elastic was a little larger than the fabric. Good idea!

Are those very small clothes pins or special clips that I haven't seen in the fabric store or online? I love the pouch though. It would come in handy with a small binder.

I use double sided tape tape to hold the zipper in place before sewing

You know I've seen this channel's videos in my feed for a while, but can't help to notice that the designs are exact copies of other youtubers designs whom have uploaded their videos before yours. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but it does seems suspicious.
