Went there early this year and it's honestly the highlight of my South Korea trip. Medyo nafeel ko yung goosebump when the tour guide showed us yung toll gate to North Korea. You are literally 4 kilometers away from DPRK! Kudos Ivan for doing this tour kasi madalang to isinasama ng usual travel vloggers in their itinerary

Ang DMZ ay isa sa mga highlights ng South Korean trip ko last April. I was so immersed sa history about sa ngyari between South Kor and North Kor. Sa mgpupunta Ng SoKor, I recommended this tour. Thanks Ivan sa vlog. ❤

I did the JSA tour way back 2017 with my travel buddy…the most unique tour we ever did. Yep UN soldiers guide us there. We also signed a life waiver. Days before the tour, there was an incident of a North Korean defector of high ranks crossing the SK border just near the blue house driving a military vehicle. Imagine the fresh incident and the tour we did, the risk was high. I never told my friend about this because she might cancel our tour but the tour guide mentioned it anyway hehe. Very memorable tour

I had the chance to do the JSA tour 2x pre-pandemic and you're right that once you enter the camp, the regular guides will be replaced by the soldiers. It's the highlight of both my trips and I have been telling my family about it. I will take my mom to SOKOR next year and JSA is in my list, do they still allow tours there now? I am relatively new to your channel as I discovered yours when I watched JM's SG Klook video, but apart from your India and Nepal vlogs, I have watched all your international videos already. I sometimes do weekend marathons of your travel series. I enjoy your storytelling, how you can get excited by simple things and how I can see that you really enjoy doing what you do. I agree with you. This is an under rated tour but it is an eye opener. And kung makikita mo na napakalapit lang ng magkalabang bansa, nakakatakot and nakakalungkot. Nakakawala ng hininga ang tunnel na yan so congratulations. Nakasabay pa namin yung mga bagong enlist na mga korean men.

We did a DIY DMZ and JSA tour back in 2016! Wala pa klook, madugongnprocess, a week before hinihingi ng UN yung copy of passports namin to screen it. Not sure tho is Klook has the JSA one. It was an experience talaga!
