Mr. Long speaks of going back to amalgamate the dissimilar elements, and never mentions just what media was used to do so. It is an incredibly method to employ most assuredly, but very well represented for the space it fills.

My family and I just completed the Ben Long fresco trail this weekend May 14-16. So happy to see this well done video with so much of Ben actually painting - and posted only days before we went. Over 3 days we saw 12 different sites with frescos all over N.C(5 are in Charlotte). The stories & folks behind all these works are equally fascinating. Revisiting St. Mary's the little church in Jefferson that started it all was so emotional for me. A modern day Michaelangelo, indeed. AMAZING work.
