James I had an interesting encounter today. I was at a local ARC store getting a pot for the kitchen when I asked the cashier where she's from and she said the Philippines then I replied with magangdang umaga and her face lit up with a big smile. I gave her a short story of where I went in the Philippines last year. That made my morning.

Hey James,Love your videos. BTW, regarding the racoons and other critters, considering you are closed to the forest than my backyard is in California with no close open areas nearby, you have a lot more than those two racoons that may visit. Not long ago, I hired a company to trap and humanely transport the skunks that were visiting my backyard at night. We had to stop their svc, because they charge by the number of critters caught and released.My count before canceling their svc was:12 skunks, 5 racoons and 1 possum. Consider that this was with all housing nearby, with no nearby forest like yours, hate to break it to you, but you will probable will need to set that trap beyond the two you will catch.

Its nice to see a green lawn. We are hit with extremely high water Bill's in San Diego and most all you see is dry yards or low maintenance landscape. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing the PI project kick back into gear.

I'd go crazy if I didn't get to see green. One of the main reasons we're retiring in the Philippines is we have "green" 365 days a year without interruption. Thanks for the kind words Daniel! 😊

Glad you got the critters James, i miss seeing your videos as have been watching for a long time now, even back in Australia i rushed home to watch your shows i call it my soapys. Great job! The koi pond looks fantastic, I really do like the fountains, it gives the area a more natural ambiance. Also, I like your idea of relocating the raccoons, I don't like to kill unless it's the last resort.

Jame's, please tell your little friend in the cage for me " Ha! Ha,...now what you little bandit,...now what?! " Never-mind, don't ask,...I've had similar issues as you with some your buddies little relatives here on the coast. They too reluctantly ' moved ' to a safer location. My neighbors suggested capitol punishment for them,..tempted as I was, well, like you,.. just couldn't do it. And as for Winky's visit,...too sweet! As we're all aware,...when it comes to Winky,..." It's all good. " Winky just as with her personality is cute, too, reminds me Sharon Cuneta from here early movies.

Good job James. What did you bait them with? Ness's lumpias since you caught them so fast..lol With raccoons if you leave them food they will come. I see people are already speculating when you will get Villa Feliz completed. Will you be taking on the rest of the project as your own builder or will you try to let the guy finish what he started? Either way im looking forward to build updates when you get back there in 39 days

You know those chicken wing bones you throw in the trash? Go figure, raccoons love them! As far as our contractor goes, we're trying to get him to finish the project as he still hold funds for remaining construction. Unfortunately, like many stories we hear in the Philippines, he doesn't reply to our emails or answer our calls.

Congrats on the man vs critters James. Many people call animal control for such problem. No tax dollars where used on your project. How is your contractor doing on the outside projects of Villa Feliz? The firs video of yours I saw was the one on the cost of building a house in the Philippines. I hope you will do a end of project wrap up on the cost if you have the time and feel comfortable doing so. Thanks for all the wonderful videos.

Way back when I predicted May for the finish of Villa feliz Ill bet you thought I was quite the pessimist then, but you are to kind to say so. Now I am so curious to see how long it takes you to get someone back to work when you get back to the filipines. I wish I had about half of your energy and ability to be detailed on things. You better pack as many tools as you can into a balik bayan box because I have a feeling you will be putting them to use Lol. But who cares you are living a dream. Que sera sera
