I agree the bag is stunning. I have two Ericas's nylon hobo bags and I love them both in teal and black which I purchased on QVC a couple of years ago. The nylon is the best and in black with black leather is gorgeous! So happy foryou. I wish I needed it. Love love love!

That is my beef with DB backpacks. I want a pocket in the back to put my phone in! I have a couple backpacks from Dooney, one is nylon & then the other is an embossed one. The embossed one I like to use when it rains. I have a couple backpacks ive bought off Amazon & love then because they have aback pocket. This one is super cute though. Love it in the black black. Thanks Spring! I don’t know why Dooney doesn’t make these little details that mean so much. I would sacrifice an interior pocket for an exterior one any day. I think they have one backpack that has an exterior zip, but it’s leather. I prefer a nylon one die to weight and comfort. Well I’ll try this one out and see how it goes. Hi Ivana, Happy New Year from the Middle East. What a great review, thanks for modeling the bag and sharing the true dimensions. So many of DB's bag have wrong dimensions. Hope you update this review with a user review after one or two years of using it (quite difficult, I know, with an extensive bag collection). Anyway, would you say DB's nylon is better than Longchamp's? I hate that Longchamp has only one interior unzipped pocket with no key fob. How is the water resistance of DB's nylon and Vachetta leather? I have not yet tested it here since it rarely rains here but planning to bring my Vachetta leather to Europe and thinking of purchasing a DB nylon, too, for travel there. Thanks for your reviews, they're so extensive ... much appreciated.

Hello Athenamay and Happy New Year to you! 🎊Thank you for the kind comment and inquiry on Dooney Nylon. I have four Longchamp nylon bags. I love the look of them, but they are not my favorite to use. I don’t like the interior with only 1 pocket. The little leather flap is cute but it always gets in the way. The only advantage for me is they are very lightweight. With regard to Dooney Nylon, it feels thick and substantial. The leather trim is superior in my opinion. I don’t usually worry about taking them out in the rain unless they have a lot of the tan trim because I’m a little afraid of water spots. I have heard sometimes it can spot but sometimes it dries clean. With regard to the black/black backpack, I wouldn’t be worried at all. I can’t really speak to the carry or wear and tear because I haven’t carried it yet unfortunately. I mainly would use it for travel where I might be doing hiking or outdoors activities and I haven’t had that opportunity yet. I do love it though. I feel it it’s very well made and durable. To sum up, I do highly recommend Dooneys nylon. It’s very well done and the prices are really great as well. I recommend shopping on Ilovedooney.com, but I don’t know if they ship to your country or not. Also the outlet store locations ship as well if you call them. Good luck.
