Thank you for posting your review and honest review. I keep going back and forth between this and the Excalibur. Trying to figure out which is the best saw and way. They seem pretty well matched up.

Sure appreciate your reply! I am thinking the same thing, the locking mechanism has pushed the Jet into the running for me. The jet is not that noisy or not much vibration for you? I have an old Delta mid grade scroll saw that is loud and so much vibration, it's not so fun to use, so I am sure either one will blow me away, just want to try and get the best one I can. Only wish they where not to pricey, paid almost half that for my new table saw.. lol Thanks again. :)

The blade clamping and the iron table put me over the top for this saw. Just got it. Really excited about it.

have you had problems with the spring on the bottom holding the blade holder,,,mine wont stay attached when you release the top tension?

So I replaced my bottom attachment with different one and don’t use the cartridge anymore. Pegas makes a replacement bottom that works much better .

Good evening, I watched your video with great interest and was struck by the lower quick locking system of the blade that appears in the description (from minute 4 to minute 5 of the published video). I would like to know where you can buy this accessory. Thanks for your attention and I look forward to a response.

I’m not sure this can be purchased separately as it comes stock on the Jet Scroll saw. Jet has a 1800 number and I bet this can be ordered as a replacement part. I would first call them and see what they have to say

Doesn’t the Jet have a 5 yr warranty compared to 2 on other saws. If this is correct that’s a big difference.

Yes they offer a 2,3, or 5yr warranty depending on the tool. I think this one is a 5yr.

Only criticism I have of your review is the music , I seldom listen to any thing that starts out with some audio that’s completely unrelated to the product .

We’ll it’s only about the first 15 seconds or so and the rest of video has no music. But for a three year old video, I can live with it.

Which is better the Pegas or the jet 22?.

Donald Jablonsky parts of both. I really like the unique upper blade holder of the Jet. The pegas is nice and equally well built but I would choose the Jet with the lower blade holder upgraded to the Pegas. Then you have the best of both worlds. The jet also has very nice dust collection

I am sorry if I came off defensive its just a bit loud for me, hard to believe I would ever say that growing up in the 60s. I always buy the best tool I can if affordable. I have used a dewalt ss for many years and upgraded it with the pegas kit. It works great but I also use a hawk 220 vs that is yes more expensive but I found it at an auction and it had never been used. It is a very nice saw but I had to become a bottom feeder cause it has the old barrel style chuck on the bottom similar to the jet. Anyway nice video and keep it up
