Your laugh is so infectious, I never tire of listening. Yep that’s me. Guilty as charged my budget shouldn’t either. Thank you about the difference in the pens. Microns don’t work well over some things like paint or other things when you’re doing multimedia. I love this just too much fun.

Thanks so much for this idea. I don't draw as welll as you do, but I do have a lot of stamps that I could use on the paper then tranfer to the dura-lar. Using both side of the dude-lar is such a great idea. This is just so professional Myriam - I doubt I could ever achieve such a professional finish. Love all the info you have passed on here and I also have some sort of weird affinity with fishy stuff and underwater scenes - I have three huge acrylic ink under-sea scenes on my living room wall - I painted them when we were caravanning around Oz some years ago. Thanks Myriam, I have been trying to paint with alcohol inks for a couple of days now, but was having trouble with details. This video gave me so many possible solutions. I also think I will invest in some Dura-Lar. I love your underwater scene, I was trying for a beach but I think I would like to make some jelly fish. I liked your bubbles. Love this and will try using Dur-lar, I like that you can paint on the reverse side and not disturb your doodles. Need another trip to order some transparent.

Love love love this. I’ve used Dura LAR with watercolor pencils but not much else. Now I must 1) order some Dura Lar and 2) a new Sakura perm pen! Was it Sakura? 3) check your notes for pen type or rewatch video! Hehe Thank you for sharing!!

Hi Diana! Thank you for your kind words!! When you say “canvas” for alcohol ink do you mean literal canvas (stretched fabric on a frame) or do you mean “substrate “, meaning any appropriate surface for the medium (in this case alcohol ink)?

Seems like all the crafters in the world agree with you! Spoil yourself! Craft stores have never seen anything like it...isn't it wonderful! All the creativity being expressed in the world! I got my 100% pure alcohol at Paint Mobile, which is an automotive paint store They told me that the pharmaceutical companies have bought up all the alcohol for use in hand sanitiser. Here in Australia, the automotive paint stores are the only places that have it, because people use it to clean engine parts. BTW- This same pad of Dura-lar is $50 a pad here in Australia.
