I really enjoyed the walk. I remember long gone places like Sloppy Joes which was on the corner where Ripley's is now....and the Pavillion. Many good memories from the past. Thanks Timothy.

The old Sloppy Joes Bingo and Cafe open 24/7. Here is a video talking about it. Most of the in go comes at the end. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iX_Jh62fhNxon7csi=13oBlzM_UiaxuvlS

Very enjoyable walking tour, Timothy! I'm going to use your "same-ole-same ole" saying as it relates to the unclean streetscapes along the roadway areas. Was glad to see that the newer portion of the boardwalk area was better maintained. Ripley's Believe It or Not need to pressure wash their disgusting sidewalks at all entrance points.

I will never understand why someone would spit their gum out on the sidewalk for others to see and possibly step in.

I first visited Myrtle Beach when I was 18. It was a lot different from our NC beaches. There’s a lot to do there.

Thanks. I hope they keep them open. The noise of the games along the boardwalk is impeding in my memories. 👍

I went to Myrtle Beach in 2000 and would love to return and enjoy the Calabash seafood.
