What a great video! We are heading to Huntington next summer. Staying in the North campground. Do they allow dogs on the beach at North campground? Are the beaches overly crowded?
@VANTREKKINGlifestyle3 жыл бұрын
It’s been awhile since we’ve been to Huntington Beach during the summer so I’m not sure how crowded the beaches would be, but I don’t think it would be very crowed because there are not any hotels or houses nearby, however people can come in for day use so I’m not entirely sure. The website states that dogs are allowed on the south end of the beach, so it may be a longer walk for you. It’s a great place I’m sure you will enjoy it.

Hi ya'll ! We are thinking of buying a Blackstone griddle. If you were buying again for camping; would you buy a 22" or another17"? Does turning the griddle over work good as a top with a strap around it? Would you still use the one pound bottles or go with a hose for the Travato outside connection? Thank you so much and pet Mag dog for us and have a Blessed weekend.
@VANTREKKINGlifestyle4 жыл бұрын
Hi guys! Hope all is well with you. Size of the perfect griddle depends on how much space you have to store it. For us the 17” single burner works perfectly for travel and the 22” works perfectly for home. We started out with the 17” and for just us two it’s perfect... but when we’re home we tend to have family show up every now and then and the extra size helps a lot. Turning the griddle over is ingenious and does help a lot but... you still need the waterproof bag, especially if you’re storing it outside... if you’re storing it inside you can probably get away with no bag, but it does have a cooking odor after many cooks so we prefer to keep it outside and since it straps on top of our storage box it makes sense to do that. As for green bottle vs. hose... no brainer... HOSE by a mile! Green bottles are super expensive per gallon compared to bulk and more than that it’s one less thing to have to carry with you. The hose just snaps in the quick connect and attaches to the griddle. Turn the valve by the quick connect and fire up the griddle. Disconnect and store the hose. We do keep one green bottle with us just in case we want to cook away from the van on a picnic table. Mag-Pie says thanks for the love! Much love from us to you guys!

The first year we had the van we didn’t use the shower, now we never use anything else. It is very comfortable for a wet bath. We wipe down the wooden floor mat and the bathroom floor and take the curtain most of the way down and let it hang to dry folded over the towel rack. It’s not like having a regular shower but it’s work well.
