Good News Charlie...I was diagnose with STAGE III Melanoma in 2009. 2 surgeries and 33 lymph nodes removed.I started chemo everyday for a month and then shots 3 times a week for a year. I only made to the 4th month. Lung infection. They gave me a 30% chance for 5 yrs. It's been 13 years. They said that it could come back and no cure. Hey.. who cares? The down side is. The chemo cause my body to attack itself. I had my left hip replaced, both knees replaced and my right ankle replaced. Other health issues. I am 54. I have paid my price. I was a 6 hcp up until my last replacement (7 mnths ago) I have been hanging around 80 to 86. Golf was one of the things that kept me going. Family was the 1st. I could hardly breath and I still went to Myrtle beach with my buddies and they took my money. Since then I have taking a lot more back. lol We go down to M.B. 2 times a yr. for the last 20 plus years. My body gets tired and I want to stop playing...I am scared too. I dont want to give up the fight. I am happy for you.. DONT NEVER GIVE UP.
