What is the significance of observing Ramadan? I know it’s a Muslim religious time period, but what is it about? The stone in that hillside are a different type of stone than I’ve seen. Something between hard clay and sandstone it seems.

Just to obey the teachings of Islam and our prophet Muhammad PBUH and to observe the fasting along with proper prayers from sunrise to sunset and for one month every year and this practice keep us in order physically , mentally, psychological and also remind us to to help out the poor, deprived and unprevileged in their need and problems .
