As an artist and having gone through the loss of a loved one, I understand the need to create and how grief can block inspiration. Love that this video was raw in showing that things don't always work according to plan. It's ok. Twitch would be a great platform to do streaming on and a great way to expand what you do. Hugs and it will get better.

Wow! You're back and you rock!!! I love the colors in this mani and the concept is really neat. I'm going to pass your vid on to a friend who is into watermarble and stamping and see if you get a new subscription. Anybody who doesn't understand where you've been needs a good swift kick. I'm glad you are feeling up to creating again; it's hard to lose somebody you love no matter what. I am watching this for the second time. I saw it last night and wanted to write you a 'welcome back' note but my keyboard had other ideas.

You take as much time as you need. I'll still be here. I've been watching you for almost ten years now. In fact, you were my first KZbin subscription, I swear! Your water marble videos were, and are, like magic to me. I'm always hypercritical of my own artistic attempts, so I haven't actually tried to water marble myself yet. But I have recreated some of your more simple designs before. As a lifelong pet steward I know how badly losing a pet can just knock the wind out of your sails. Grief and mourning take their own sweet time and don't let us get both oars in the water on our schedule. I'll try to follow you to Twitch, but I can't make any promises. I've only been there a couple of times so I don't really understand how it works yet. But I'll always be here and I'll do anything I can to help you realize your dreams. Be well, dear Colette.

I was playing around with that same technique last night. I didn't think about flipping over the stamper head. I bet you may be able to push down from the inside of the stamper using a pencil stamper to make it more rounded and possibly prevent so many bubbles. Thank you for sharing :)

First and foremost, you don't need to "make it up to us". With that being said, the live streaming idea is pretty darn awesome. I, for one, would follow you anywhere. As for the mani, I really like it! I think personally I'll play it safe and stick to dipping my fingers, haha.

Heeeyyyy! I've missed your videos and this one is more than making it up to us! You didn't bail though! Please don't say that. Your life and emotional wellbeing comes before KZbin and any Water Marble month! The lack of creative juices is totally understandable. It happens to me from time to time so why shouldn't it happen to the best of us (YOU)? ❤️ Regarding your going to another platform; I don't usually access Twitch but I would if it meant seeing more of your creative process. Now, I'm sorry to hear that your views on here are stagnating. Whenever people ask me for advice on water marbling or they're having a hard time, I refer them to your channel. You do have the best tutorials on KZbin!

Our furry kids really grab hold of our hearts, and you have to give yourself time to grieve in your own way. This was such a beautiful and striking design! Hi Collette oh man I must tell you I still think your color combinations are the prettiest of any of the nail tutorials on KZbin that is a huge compliment but that is the truth!!! Absolutely gorgeous and sure I'd follow you to Twitch I'll have to Google it cuz I have no idea what that is for live videos and Lynette everybody understands about Dude. Our animals truly are family members everybody knows that you don't have to apologize for that for not being here for a while it's to be expected and I know you're still hurting and missing him I lost my dog 2010 I'm still miss him every day at least I got almost 17 years with him but it's never long enough anyway this water marble stamping so pretty I've missed you making me laugh as you did tonight thanks so much for sharing welcome back.ps on a little side note I had tried something new myself watching another nail Channel so I bought these powders+ gel polish a nail dryer the powder is a holographic glitter well yeah it came out pretty but it was so time consuming I've recently found that the newer types of glitter polishes that I actually got at the Dollar Tree a Holo glitter polish with two coats of that and I get exactly the same result much easier and quicker! Guess the point I'm making I guess it's been a long time since I bought glitter type of nail polish because it never had coverage like you've used a powder before just had to share that

Yes, I think it would be great to get color suggestions from the chat, and interact with the audience as I'm doing things not just after the fact. It's not strictly a business decision, part of it is being bit by the streaming bug after watching on Twitch myself for about a year now.

I've been missing you, but you have been in my thoughts and my heart. This is a beautiful mani... But... I think I would have more disasters than it would be worth. The "veil" technique that you tried encouraged me to try. Total success! For some reason my right orange stick, which I was using, kept getting almost stuck. Using just a touch of cuticle oil stopped that problem. When I did try to water marble, I couldn't get a bullseye for the life of me! I'm wondering if the problem was my use of too small of a container. I was using a small plastic hospital pill dispensing cup.... As for your live-streaming... I stay off of ALL social media except KZbin... I'd hate to miss it but think it's probably a good idea for you to follow through with. And again, I have missed you, but TOTALLY understand!
@MSLP6 жыл бұрын
so glad the veil technique worked for you! I feel like that has so much potential, I'm looking forward to playing more with it myself. I usually say smaller is better than larger when it comes to cups, but one that small may be too tiny. It's OK if Twitch isn't for you, the content will get uploaded here too after the stream =)

@MSLP6 жыл бұрын
For this one, I was wiping my stick about every other stroke - it can depend on what polish you're marbling with, how much gets built up on the tip, you want to try and keep it sharp to get nice clean lines in the design. Twitch is a streaming site & it's very easy to use, you don't even have to make an account unless you want to chat. I'll be sure to include more info when I announce a date, for those unfamiliar with it
