For those who can't find the files, you might wanna check on these locations C:/Windows C:/Program Data/MySQL/MySQL Server X.X/Data (Program Data is usually hidden, so you might wanna go around to access it)

Hey, althoough my answer is much delayed for being quite busy, here it is: Those files should be generated on the MySQL server and added to the my.cnf file using the appropriate configuration variables first. If you administer the database, you can generate them, otherwise, you can get them from the database admin.

No this will work over the Internet to a MySQL server on a public IP, or a MySQL server on the LAN.
