I relate to this song because I feel in love with a Mexican woman but because I'm mixed native american with italian Scot French Irish mix her Mexican parents forbid us from being together. Sucks that they bullied her and instead of standing up to her parents she got scared and broke up with me. I wrote a poem called forbidden love. So sad the prejudice of her parents but more hurtful when she loved me but didn't fight for me. I just want that one love to marry and I can never have her. I'll always love her.
