The first Assassin's Creed game is based on the book Alamut, which is about the story mentioned in the video.

it comes from the Arabic word "Assasioon" which means "The Main Ones" or "The Most Important/Essential people in a group", the original word is "Assass" which means "fundamental or the root of things". Hashasheen begins a completely different letter in Arabic close to "KH" KHasheen. so I believe this conclusion mentioned in the Video is a little off the mark! ;)

well they are they were not just in alamut there main headcounters in syria was masyaf al mualim also existed and the apple of eaden represents hashesh

The name of the guy who invented the Hashasheen's sect coincides with my country's ruling family.. till today Code named it mysteriously Q8

no, hash'a'sheen (or "those who hashish" those who use hasheesh) in Arabic people still call pot smokers hash'a'sheen... not the name hassan... i could be wrong but im like 99% sure because i speak arabic
