Originally meaning a woven container, the word keister has roots all over the place. The devil's tool box? Sure. A safe? That too. So, how did it become associated with the buttocks? Jessica Oreck and Rachael Teel get to the bottom of the word keister.

Also cista made it's own way to "cesta" in spanish, meaning a container; and chest, wich refers to the torax it's because it contains many organs.

I like how most european languages maintain the proto-indo-european version nearly as is, but we english change it to chest.

So they don't really know why "keister" is a butt, but they decided to make a video about it anyway. Actually, I think a lot of slangs just started with someone saying the first word that popped into his head, and it just caught on.

She's doing one for each letter of the alphabet. I don't know if "K for Keister" is the most interesting, but that's part of the reason.

In continental Portuguese, the ass is sometimes referred to as "package" or."packet" Maybe for similar reasons?
