If they didn't have the characteristic sound I would agree with you, but many reports have been in less than 500 feet and over and over people are reporting they sound like propellers and they also SEE propellers. At this point in time it's much more likely that there was a significant battery breakthrough we weren't told about which is making drones much more efficient and useful. I truly wish it were more than that but UAP or UFO tech would likely not be using propellers.

I live near lackland Air Force Base.. we walk our dogs sometimes fly kites you know those real fancy ones . It doesn't take less than 20 minutes before a Air Force military canine guard shows up in a truck investigating us . Even though we're neighbors.. . Nobody believe me when I say that I've spotted similar objects but a lot more in April 1998 at 06:15 on my way to work one morning. It happened in Pretoria, South Africa. I've made a few sketches of it but it looks like it will stay with me. Nobody else saw it!? When I got in the bus it was still clearly visible. I took a seat and were surprised that no one else including the Driver says anything about it. I sat in front near the Driver next to a man and asked him about it. His only reaction was that it is not anybody who can see it!? I hope to experience it again one day. God bless.

It is hard to believe that the US government does not have more information on the multiple drone sightings. This is especially true because of the tight regulations for drone piloting in the US broadly, much less military installations and airports. If it is illegal to shot down drones but legal for unknown drones to overfly airports and military installations then we should change the laws or capture the unidentified drones to establish their origin(s).

Picatinny Arsenal is 6 miles from the Class B airspace for Newark, LaGuardia, and JFK. Every "drone" sighting video I've seen published looks like an airplane. Could they be "drones"? Maybe but, given the location, the most like scenario is air traffic in and out of those airports. It's some of the busiest airspace in the world. Last year those airports saw a, combined, 140+ million passengers. That would be like 1 plane every 2 mins or less at each of those airports.
