One of the points of this channel is that we forget what is right in our own back yards :)

Has anyone ever wondered why KDKA Pittsburgh is the only broadcasting company East of the Mississippi that starts with the letter K? While all subsequent broadcasting companies license begins with the letter W. Hint.. it's right there on the bottom of the KDKA logo that Scott's video shows.

@@edelquinn3265 it's because it was the 1st radio station in the country. Before the rule of W for all stations east of Mississippi and K for all stations west of Mississippi. KDKA was grandfathered in was allowed to keep the K.

Mr. Compass was not sticking. He needs to be held flat on the palm of your hand. Girl Scout orienteering training. See the black arrow on the lucite base? That should be your direction of travel. Metal snaps, zippers, watches will interfere with the accuracy. If you have orienteering experience, perhaps you're simply too cold be fully functional. Go warm up and try another day. Thanks for the fun!

Living in Bedford County, we have taken quite a number of out of town guests to Gravity Hill including 5 foreign exchange students. Everyone has the same reaction you have had. It is a fun to see the reactions of newbees.

I've bin there a few years back when I want to Shanksville to see flight 93 memorial in 2006. Great vlog. A suggestion would be 1000 steps in Huntington pa. I'm a local in Blair county. Your video's bring back memories I've bin to some of these places all interesting.

I live just 7 miles from Thousand Steps. I have kinda been avoiding it like the plague... not because of disinterest... just because it is Thousand Steps. IF you have never done it... it puts all other 1,000 step type locations (like Bushkill Falls) to shame. Thousand Steps is a KILLER after step 550. They steps are 9-14 inches high and only 5-8 inches deep. A workout of workouts... and well, I am not as young as I once was. NO WORRIES... it IS on the list. (But may end up being my LAST video... unless I survive it... LOL)

As much as I have been doing this Historical Urban Exploration, I remembered that it was not the FOCUS of my channel. I am out there for ANYTHING that appears to be ODD to SEE and is off the beaten path. Let's call it my 5 month "self check" video :D

When I was younger I had thought there was only 1 and everyone was talking about the same one. Since then I have confirmed 3 of the most popular but know of about 4 more just in Bucks/Montgomery counties alone (from when I attended PSU Abington). I wonder if anyone has collected ALL of them into a journal.
