Every foundation held the hopes and dreams of someone in the past. When you build something, you are thinking of the future and all its possibilities. It is so sad that so many little towns across America are withering on the vine. No new buildings only bordered up main streets that will soon be forgotten by history. Thank you again for a look into your journey. It is like Forrest once said I wonder what people did when they were not doing anything.

Clams from Asia, or from when there was an Inland Sea Millions of years ago? Perhaps the 60 foot high Lake released them from the Ancient Bedrock!

Very interesting! That lake has receded a lot. Must be those people from california stealing the water.

Don't know why that engine block would be down there, possible that it was stolen and they changed their minds. By the casting number that's shown, it's an early 60's 327 cubic inch Chevy block, and it looks like it's been down there about that long. Totally useless now.

Oh for sure it's been down there for a while. There were some other car parts there too. I didn't take pictures though.
