"She's a solid midgame Arts looper" Here's the problem, and my biggest problem with Ranmaru as a whole: YOU HAD TO BEAT HEIAN-KYO TO GET HER. If you beat Heian-kyo, you beat Atlantis and Olympus. If you've beaten THOSE, then you are NOT in a position where a "midgame looper" is valuable to you. Like you said, there's no reason for her to be this exclusive, and it's not like the event is even hard. It's a bog-standard mission event, like we've had a dozen of in the past.

Even worse, LB3 and Olympus have Ruler boss and she would have been great for F2P if she wasn't locked behind Heian Kyo.

You don't need loopers for the main quest, you can beat that with anything, the point is to farm the mats afterwards. She can still do that, for new accounts having her+ habetrot free sup castoria and something else like paracelsus is crazy good.

What I find absolutely hilarious is that Mori Ranmaru was so desperate to get back Nobbu's head that he called out for a gender unknown sci-fi chunbi alternate dimension version of himself to clean up the mess that he left behind. I completely understood how shocked he was in the epilogue because that's so far outside the realm of normalcy that not even Gudaguda shenanigans can fully explain it.

@@mrdolphin549 To be fair, 'main focus' is kinda vague especially in regards to Gudaguda events. When Ryouma was the free servant there was definitely more of a focus on Majin Alter and Chacha was hardly the main event during her introduction. Not even Kagetora was the main focus during her Gudaguda. So I feel that she got an average amount of spotlight, enough to be happy with.

The only logical reason I can see Ranmaru being so exclusive is her Avenger Class. Pretty much all the Avengers worth giving a shit about are rare either by being Story Locked or just plain Limited and they wanted Ranmaru to fall in line... kinda.

I think it sucks that they don't do reruns anymore. Newer players or players that have to make new accounts have no way of playing this event. If they're not going to do reruns they should at least have more accessible story requirement

For one, re-runs are THE best time to get Free Quartz from missions (main reason) Another is that re-runs usually have lower engagement (i.e. people rushing the last 2-3 days to complete) and the banners are not really rolled on. No re-run events means people HAVE to spend and not just wait till they can F2P to get their waifu and/or husbando. i.e. blame the MBA degree holding bean counters and stockholder "loyalty" for the abandonment of re-runs

I was pretty frustrated on SIN because I had zero Avengers to deal with the emperor and the game was taunting me with a welfare one that I could only get after the fight. To make matters worse, yesterday I blazed through the event with a Morgan support and I don't think the events of 5.5 were particularly relevant to it.

It's so stupid that this event is only available after HEIAN-KYO, I didn't even start going through the prologue when I found out that I couldn't participate in this event, I had to speedrun 7 singularities in 5 days without reading the story... and i spend around 15 quartz to beat difficult fights.

If the devs feel generous enough, they may just drop a buff to improve her performance as a farming avenger or crit avenger, which its sad since antonio basically fills the role better, only lacking a battery. Then again, knowing the evocation system, they will drop random wellfares at random times, rarely giving buffs to them.

People call "Esports" to servants that are purposely left underleveled so they can use their skills (usually only the first one) or their NP and then be killed quickly so another servant takes their place

Esports in this context means leaving a servant at level 1 so they can use their skills then die easily (Either through a taunt skill, CE or just relying on luck) and be replaced.
