I remember rules we had to learn. 1. Never ever answer to the voice that asks you a question or calls you by name in the dark. especially if it's a familiar voice or even your own voice. 2. Avoid caves or ruins, especially at dark times. 3. If you must sleep outside because of circumstances, it is best to sleep in a graveyard compared to ruins or caves. 4. If you sit in one place and you hear a voice or laugh, don't fall asleep and try to get away from there as soon as possible. This last one happened to my mother's oncle. He was working as a farmer and had to open and close the water path to his farm. After he opened the water path to his field, he fell asleep. He was woken by a sound calling his name. He saw around the field and saw no one. Once again, he fell asleep, and then something touched his shoulder and called his name with a laughter. Once again, he isn't able to spot anything or anyone around him. The third time, while he was awoke, something hit him hard in the head with the same laughter. He lost his eyesight in one of his eyes because of that strike. Everyone was convinced that he was striked by an entity called "Murduzma". In dari/ persian It's written as follow: " مردازما". This thing can shapeshift and transform itself into animals or objects. I have seen american soldiers telling stories from their time in Afghanistan and what they saw or heard in the dark, and most of the time, this entity is to be blamed.

Awghanistan is Just a name given by the British empire. This country was once called Khurasaan which includes other parts of countrys. Its a lie that this region or country is not conquered. Alexander conquered it, The Muslims conquerd it which was called Khurasaan. The Seljuks conquered it, the Mongols conquered it, the pathans conquered it. After this it was called awghanistan, which several superpowers ( British-Russian-America and now Pakistan) came devided People and did What they did and do. Awfghanistan history is Just about 120 years old.

My father and mother grew up in hazarajat mountainous parts and centeral Afghanistan, Daikundi, daizingi, lal sir jungle. He has worked in different parts as farmer, as shepherd, as ston mason with my uncle (his younger brother). He is around 75 yrs old now. Still sane and told me about his encounters many times before but i never believe in him as this is illogical, one thing that confuses me, my father doesn't bluff and my father is serious, he , my mom and even my uncle have not only same opinion but claim to be eye witness and strongly believe in such things. Same thing i heard when asked from many other people over the age of 65 , they say they had problems with them killing their live stocks in the village. They say these things were happening until russians with cars and military technology used to visit for some kind of research, wewere told that they are researching for oil. then, the creatures disappeared according to time as modernisation spread in Afghanistan during 50s to 70s. But any one up-to 50 yrs don't have much info but their parents used to tell stories and lost their siblings or cousins while dealing with these creatures. They call "al khato" tall ugly woman, with long hairs, long claws . Eats babies, death babies or live stock babies. Or suck blood. They either laugh or cry. When they cry, you have to give her a bowl of milk, she will leave without curse. But if you attack her, she will run away but will curse you , her curse is irreversible. "jins" they r short look like kids, passes through walls. Shape shifting ability , some even live with in humans as muslims, worldwide secret society. U can only recognize them in reflection in mirror, water and no shadows under the sun. "balah" has human like 2 legs, 2 hands, black hairy body with monstrous face. It eats live stocks, or just kill them and consume their consciousness or soul my father says. Appears only in dark. "mazdarmayi" it's slidely biger then Human in heights. Has long tail, it very shy creature. Laughs, speaks any voice like humans hiding behind trees to disturb or lure humans. They are naughty and destructive. They don't kill attack humans. They only trick humans, frighten tactics, to steal their live stocks for food. "Pari" they young ungly girls with wings and long teeths, predator fingers, with shape-shifting ability. They only appear when a young man go in mountains and play flutes. They fall in love music and the flute. It's said, when men with broken heart (failed lovers) would go among mountains deliberately, so they could speak to a fairy to ease the pain in heart , either fulfil his wish or help him forget the woman he loves. "Dayw" they are very big in size. only live inside caves, among mountains, they hide from humans because humans have been killing them from thousands of yrs. they used to make noise at some nights. The mountains would have echos with their voices. My father says, all these creatures, they don't attack on human until human don't attack them. We were living within our limits and terms. But everything were normal as usual. In fact they were afraid of humans. For them human are the monsters, and they think humans are the most cruel deadliest creatures. As non believer i have tried all scientific questioning and fact, arguing with my parents that these things are not true. But they say, they are eye witnesses, lived in those villages. These things were normal to us but today no body believes. He says, he doesn't think they really exist by now, or might have moved to other parts of the world for their own safety. Bcoz as we see we humans are more powerful with our technology, weapons that can destroy the world with our destructive brains.

@@johnplayer1052 in our culture, saya means the shadow. no idea about dhund but we know dooth in Persian dialects, it means Smoke. there are 2 theories among older generations,, 1- Sayah means when balah or any of these creatures passed near by their relatives, and the creatures shadow somehow interfered with their consciousness. they either went sick or went crazy for few days. same happend with sheep or horses. they say balahs and jins are made of fire according to Qurani Scriptures. they dont have human like shadow, they are made of fire, their shadows are like heat weave, like invisible smoke or vibration that penetrates through things without effect but when it pass through human body it somehow interfere with human consciousness or brain functioning. he 2nd theory is, He says that , these people went crazy in our villages due to fear and shock after encounters. . and then recovered later and shared their stories. but there were ppl who saw them passing by and even hit them on the head, or fall over. but they did not get crazy or sick after encountering. my father himself saw balah, the 2 live stocks were found death at the morning but my father was fine. but he also encountered them many times when he used to take the sheep among mountains for feed grass. he says that, he became so much confident and got used it, that he used to sleep among mountains and caves. He says that God says in quran , he created Ins (human) and Jins (jin, blah or pary). todays world is filled with human, and They are in minority. if they killed 1 human, the whole human population with their mass destructive weapons will come after to hunt them. either they went in hiding places of world now, or they learnt to adapt and probably living among humans secretly for survival. as they have shape shifting abilities.

The red haired giants were also mentioned in old Native American book. It spoke about a group of red haired giants taking ppl from the village. i had footsteps on top of my guard post ( it was like a bunker built into a berm ). sometimes they’d be footsteps of an adult, other times a child running around. rarely it would sound like someone dragging a broken leg and even like a quadruped, too. the footsteps never occurred while my shift partner was awake.. only when they’d fall asleep and they would ALWAYS fall asleep, like they couldn’t help it. if i would try to bring energy drinks or stimulants to keep them awake, it would do no good and seemed to even provoke or anger the “thing” for trying to keep my comrade awake. it did a lot more eerie things to me that i’d be willing to share, if anyone cares. i’m still terrified of whatever it was. i apologize for my poor punctuation and grammar but i had to type this out quickly before i lost my nerve. it feels like talking about it makes it aware somehow.. idk it sounds stupid but it’s a very real sensation i’ve had many times since 2010.

On one of my tours there I was in the Paktika province . My team and I came around a bend in a deep river bed within a very secluded area of the mountains. We had been moving for almost two days and had not seen a single person or animal. When we came around the bend we came under ambush. When I began to engage with the 50.cal machine gun (which deep in a canyon is louder than it already extremely is) a large winged figure jumped off a close by peak. It’s wing span was so big that the shadow of it covered the area my vehicle was located as it flew over. Everyone involved in the engagement including the opposition most definitely saw what I did because we all stopped firing our weapons. In that instance I could clearly hear the sound of its wing swooshing above as it flew away. I remember a Afganistán counterpart looking back at me in amazement and my team looking up at me in the turret dumbfounded. I honestly believe it could have been a flying dinosaur.

People living in the villages in mountains take it serious yet respectful. I mean they never try to do anything to attract those creatures or to make fun while telling the stories. They just called them the ‘Parihoi kuh’ Spirits of Mountains. They believe you have to have good deeds, good intention and kind and brave heart living around, otherwise you will be cursed. (Maybe it came from Zaradushtra religion). I personally think, the mountains are some kind of energy portal between Earth and Cosmos. We are 100 % afghan. I went to AFG during the 1979 Hostage Crisis in Iran, He was accused of being a US CIA Spy , held him for 3 years then I believe the Red Cross found him. He came back to NYC with such a long beard and showed off a stinger ( heat sensored mis. of sorts.) in 1999 he decided to go back run for president . Irony is he was with a very high level religious official who also happens to be another uncle of mine. Last sighting in a green mercedes benz and silence. I had my contacts find out he was captured , "all they meant to do is torture him , scare him and all my uncle kept saying back to the guys was "Fu, & your mother is a wh#re, on and on , torture was on and on until he had a heart attack. It was said "they didn't mean to kill him " anyway he was put in a random grave allegedly burried property not just thrown. IDK god willing he is in one of the graveyards you mentioned that has the light birds flying around or sitting on a perch. I pray that he is with allah and in peace. So my uncle, right, back in the 1980s, he lived up in the Santa Cruz mountains. He was out there hunting deer one night, like, super late-real quiet and isolated. But something was off from the start, he said. He noticed this awful, *foul* smell, like rotting garbage or something, and it wouldn’t go away no matter how much he moved around. He made it to his truck, slammed the door shut, and didn’t stop driving 'til he was back home. He thought that was the end of it, but no-weeks later, after he’d moved back to Chico, he woke up one morning to find *tracks* in his backyard. Huge, like... impossibly big. He said it was the same smell from that night in the mountains. Whatever it was had found its way to his house, right in the middle of town. He never talked much about it after that. I think whatever he saw scared him so bad, he didn’t want to think about it anymore. But yeah, it’s like something outta a horror movie, and I’ll never forget hearing him tell the story. I’ve been to the top of Gholghola. We had to follow a specific path because the Russians had mined it when they were in Afghanistan. I remember the locals used to joke about it being haunted but I never saw anything. It was an eerie overcast day when we climbed it but nothing out of the ordinary. There's an interesting encounter that an American soldier wrote in to Steve at H2H awhile ago. Supposedly this sniper scout and his spotter were dug into the side of a mountain overlooking a valley that was a major thoroughfare for the taliban and such, so as they were watching a convoy of militants make their way thru in the middle of the night they watched a pack of huge Dogmen ambush and take down the entire squad in less than 10 minutes, then a Sasquatch that was watching this right in front of their position screamed loud as Hell and portal opened up and about 15 more of them ran out of the portal and within seconds massacred the entire pack of Dogmen. I'm inclined to believe this story might be true because that's not the first time I've heard about the US military using Dogmen as bio-weapons. There are many encounters with gaints and even Yeti like creatures in Pakistan's province of Balochistan (which is neighbours Iran & Afghanistan) and in Azad Kashmir. People have reported and even interacted with these species who were somewhere near 11 feet tall and reached the peak of mountains in just few steps. They are harmless yet mysterious.

One of my Late aunt from Ghazni Afghanistan. she had a friend from one of these creatures. We would have always found the fruits in her house from another season. Such as watermelon and mango is the fruit of summer but you would have found it in her house in the middle of winters
