The biggest flaw of musashi is his tendency to play around and let the opponent use every technique on him. Even letting them hit him. When he could have easily defended or avoided them.

I think it's because he already knows he is a legend and nothing will change that . He just wants to experience how far this combat have gone . Or maybe the author just wanted to have longer fights . Cuz Musashi uses swords and if u get cut u are kinda done for . The fights be over in 1 second . And that's not really enjoyable to read .

you can tell when he lived his life he would just go for the kill and yes thats why he was always bored with one shotting people (kind of like one punch man so to speak), in this world he felt like he was able to learn what the new world had to offer and cut more and more to his hearts content. Being already a legend and someone who wanted that challenge he clearly was having fun playing around until he knew he had to play for real. Think of a pro soccer player playing with a bunch of non pros, he's obviously not going to go full out but if he was starting to lose/get challenged then of course he's going to play harder and win in the end

My favourite character, my favourite arc (despite obvious let downs) and the two fights I wanted to see fully were stopped mid fight by some 3rd party shenanigans. Musashi's rampage with the police force was just pure fan service and I loved it so much. Also Musashi vs Yuujiro was the absolute first thing I ever saw from the Baki universe, in a video showing the scans of the chapter with music behind.. The artstyle hooked me instantly, especially Yuujiro and the way Itagaki draws bodies. I was mesmerized by the fight.

Hanayama is a beast (I grant you that) but as we've seen with Musashi, he toys with the present day fighters as he wants to learn what has changed in the years he's been gone. With that being said his skills easily takes every character (minus the ogre on the easy scale) in all fights. Also I don't care what anyone says, sword beats human flesh every... single...time... enough said

I hope Retsu gets revived the same way Musashi came to the modern age. He has more potential to explore. He effectively did better than Baki did which was a great showcase to his skills. Not only that, he showcased how he can still be formidable with a prosthetic leg. With his death, to me, signifies the series is nearing its end and no one is safe.

Musashi is a killer. Seasoned and bred during the time of war where killing was seen as the norm. To him, there is no winning or losing in a fight and walking away afterwards. To him, winning or losing means you either live or die. He won't leave you in a crippled state or leave you heavily damaged the way baki and the other fighters do. His aim is to kill you if necessary if pushed to the edge to do that. If motobe hadn't stopped jack and yujiro, the results would've been way different. Or they could've ended up like retsu as well. Maybe not yujiro, but definitely jack.

U think that with baki rahen more of the old characters will come back? Rereading the series its insane how much build up and character people like Yuri, Guevera, Ali Jr. , Kaku etc had. Wouldn't it be so awesome to have maybe after the Jack arc a final tournament with all people from the past and present and Yujiro actually talking part cause now with guys like a trained Kaku, Baki, Jack, Musashi there he could actually get challenged. When i think about matchups like Guevera vs Kaku or Pickle vs Nomi man that could be so great and now that the strongest guys on earth are actually all taking part a definitive winner can be crowned. I would love to see Yuyiro having to sruggle to keep his title imgagin him having to fight Jack , Musashi and Backi in a row or hell let him insult the chinese and know he has to fight Katsumi and Kaku at once. I feel something like this could happen further down the line since the cast overall hast gotten so strong that sure Yujiro is still the king but the gap isn't as wide as it used to be also many of the other fighter have witnessed his power first hand multiple time and have been training to surpass him. Dunno i know this all sounds like a fanfic but i rly have the feeling that characters like Ali Jr. and Nomi have been introduced so they can appear later and way stronger to before so that there is an actual roster of people who could compete for the strongest title.

That sounds cool but yujiro gets stronger everyday without doing anything at speeds faster than any character (except maybe baki), so the gap between him and other characters is the same as it always was, maybe even wider. What characters need to focus on is improving technique rather than strength, but they just wont catch up to yujiro. I do think that musashi has the potential to do as good against yujiro as baki did and even better. That is granted he stops playing around all the time and goes 100% serious with the intent to kill and if he can perfect his two swords under heaven style

I want whatever Motobe was smoking that day. If the swing didnt cut him, it wouldn't have cutted Yuujiro. I like that this showed Pickle is not a fither like them, its a survivor. He has some sense of honor, but as an animal he will survive no matter what, he has no stupid pride to loose. Also yeah, Baki basically proved that he could have ended the fight, and then he left the fight to end on it's own.

musashi had the biggest plot armor in baki series becuz he was japanese and a samurai so the author of the manga was biased towards him becuz samurai stuff is sacred in japan so he had to stay biased
