While I agree Ra is one of the strongest gods we've seen so far I think he might be slightly below Odin and Zeus not enough to say he would lose for certain but enough to say he would lose maybe 6/10, Also I agree he's definitely the greatest Sun god we've seen Surt or Surtur who's supposed to fight later might be the greatest fighter user.

I am pumped for this fight, I’m honestly not sure what to think. If Cu really is the main character of this manga then I will be shocked if he doesn’t win both this fight and the entire tournament. However I will also be shocked if Ra doesn’t win because of how undeniably powerful he is. I just don’t know what to think or expect, I’m very eager to read some more! I'm pretty sure cu is gonna win cuz ra has been hyped up too much and is showing his hand so soon. Ra's aura weakening his opponent with intense heat would also make it so that we'll never really get to see his opponent at 100%.

Well even before this spin-off existed I thought that extermination of mankind wouldn't be so easy basing on the fact that top 13 humans are as strong as top 13 gods. We already saw guys like Musashi or Kondo who weren't chosen for a Ragnarok but still they would probably be strong enough to fight Adamas level gods. What I mean is if we would give humans divine weapons they could go on all out war against gods. This manga kinda shows us that there are still gods who could break the strength balance and really lead gods to victory and humans to extermination if these two races ended up in real war. However from Jack's spin off we know that Brunhilde needs agreement of fighter to write his name on the list. By that we can speculate that there are also humans who are stronger than some of our representatives, but Brunhilde probably wouldn't be able to control them. For example can you imagine controlling guys like Czyngis-chan or Drakula?

@@victorsilva5881 yeah you're right. Adamas is much less powerful than all his brothers. But he's still a warrior god. Same as Musashi is a warrior but he's much weaker than Kojiro. That's why I think if you give mankind divine weapons they would be able to fight toe to toe against gods as both sides have similar level of power when it's goes to warriors.

ive really been hating how everyone keeps gassing up cu during their fight. in chapter 2, ra counters one of his attacks, and everyone the stands is keeps saying "cu made him counter" like he didnt just get bounced off the floor by ra. it would be a really generic writing choice for ra, who hasnt taken damage all fight, to suddenly lose next chapter to an anime powerup from a character he has otherwise been dogwalking.

As someone who loves Irish lore and feels it's underappreciated, I am sad to see cu chulain being used as fodder to hype Ra up, but at the same time chulain was slayed by me who was able to manipulate and trick him into exploiting his weakness, so unless author bias is shown, I don't think see a top god like Ra being filled by a demo god. Still if he shows to be a badass and dies standing like he did in his story, maybe that will inspire others to check out his lore. Btw strong history with him and morrigan that might get explored in this side story
