Can be showed the box empty after dropping out the folded card?

You don’t need to. You show that there are only one folded card in there. You cleanly dump it out. After the trick, you casually place the full deck back inside, subtly proving that the box is empty. In my 15+ experience performing it, 0 person (ZERO!) ask for the box because everyone cares about the signed card.
