"I'm not a painter"--you sure could've fooled me, haha. I think pretty much everything looks fantastic, I love what you did with the characters look and all the different, awesome ways they now look, and the cover now has this Evil Dead Necronomicon-esque tactile feel to it that I love! The board itself looks spectacular as well! But above all else, my favourite thing about this video were your thoughts on transforming the accessory cards into story event cards. I can totally relate to this; I have so many ideas and designs for tabletop and board games but I'm absolute crap at turning them into physical things because my drawing/sculpting ability starts and ends at being able to draw a stick man--poorly! :D Speaking of which, if you ever feel like you truly want to commit to trying your hand at designing a board game and need a story/lore/events/etc partner in crime, well, you already know I'm a writer, so I'd be more than happy to throw my hat in the ring ;) PS: loving the Princess Mononoke poster in the background, it's my favourite anime :)

Hah thank you, I meant more that I just paint minis/sculptures and not freehand, but I'm happy with what I could do! I appreciate that so so much. Ahhh, I hope you work on those ideas despite the hesitation. They're your ideas, so I'm sure they're great, and bringing them to life would be a learning process and great adventure! I loved seeing those Mystery Date commercials. I think my mom actually had a copy of it when she was little, but I'm pretty sure it was lost over the years. Love the monster mystery date RPG... thing... idea. I would buy it. My friends would buy it. Can't wait to see where it goes! Thanks for another excellent vid, Witty!

love it, great idea and execution. Remixing old stuff into new art is rad. Imo the difference between cool bad art and bad bad art is the level of enthusiasm behind it and how much it meshes with your personal tastes -- I would say this is good art that is good tho lol

Not really a hot take here, but I think art is DEEPLY subjective its about what the creator felt making it, and what the viewer or listener feels consuming it, and technical artistic prowess is only one small piece of the puzzle, this is super cool to my personal tastes, I think its awesome!

Speaking to being a "cool" child. I feel like the cooler you were as a kid the more you have to look back at and cringe on. I remember wearing my clothes backwards like Kris Kross thinking it would be cool. Now I have this memory that makes my skin crawl. I'm 100% sure no one else thought I was cool for doing that either but at least I wasn't one of the cool kids that were using pacifiers in class. The early 90s were a strange time.
