For those who think this suits gai or black better (the Umbreons). This actually fits speedy because his dad was a jolteon and in the most recent eeveelution squad parts show Mrs Mollie (a flareon who we met in Espeons special) comments how much he reminds her of her husband. Now speedy found out that two eeveelutions were found dead outside where they hatched but they were both male. This is where the theory's come in.. The two male eeveelutions were a jolteon and Umbreon, the jolteon was Mrs Mollie's husband and the Umbreon was her brother. They got attacked by a wild ryhdon and they both died and Mrs Mollie lost a leg trying to get to her 3 unhatched eggs. In the process of the attack the front of the house collapsed saving the eggs in which we now know to be Speedy, Flare and Crystal. So yeah according to Mrs Mollie, speedy is a lot like her husband aka his dad
