Loganland / LL I don’t know exactly where this mention but was it from Mojang themselves(I believe in an old official guild book). All mobs in Minecraft are a-gendered. It allows for any mob of the same type to breed. Also it’s why cow have both horns and utters. I assure you it not a political thing. Also Steve is called Steve because it was a nickname given to the player character by the devs. He was supposed to be nameless just the device you used to explore the world but somewhere down the line the name Steve stuck. Then they made the slim model and named the default skin Alex.
