About me - I'm Claire and I live in the UK. My taste in perfumes is usually quite sweet but not too sweet, I love white florals but not tuberose so much. I like gourmands as long as they smell like perfumes still, I require my perfumes to change a little bit as I wear them ie not linear. I don't enjoy oud, leather, cumin, saffron or strong patchouli however there can be occasions where I do like perfumes with these notes if they are not too dominant. I enjoy most florals as long as they are backed up with something sweet or perhaps resins / insense. I tend to not enjoy anything very soapy. I also don't really enjoy very green fragrances. I am averse to overdoses of ambroxan and iso E super (timbersilk or similar) just because I find it annoying! I have no problem with synthetics in perfumery but I do enjoy perfumes that have some notes that at least smell like they could be from nature. My favourite type of perfumery is indie and I love Francesca Bianchi, Teone Reinthal, 4160 Tuesdays and Papillon Artisan Perfumes.

My favorite of the line is Dryad. Her fragrances are well done, but a bit too vintage for me. My local shop carries this line and it is well loved by her clientele.

Great video Claire - first up, you are looking great and your hair is fabulous. I love Papillon perfumes but there is a common theme with all of them, they give me a headache which is a shame as some of them smell sensational. I have a very significant birthday coming up at the end of this month and am in the process of testing some perfumes as I am going to shout myself a bottle. I have narrowed it down to De Therese by Frederic Malle or Rose Cherie by Guerlain. Of course, there is a fair chance I will buy both 😝

This sounds like a beautiful perfume. I will have to try this and Hera. I tried Dryad and really enjoyed it. It reminds me of Chanel 5 L'eau. which I have so that's why I didn't get a bottle..

I sometimes prefer the fresher version of Tobacco Rose. The one I have has aged alot and is more earthy and umami-like.

Yes this new one is fresher in a green way and the oakmoss is coming out a lot sooner. It definitely gets much closer to my old bottle after a while but I’m hoping in time it’ll become the earthier version as I do prefer that.

A great rebuy there 😊 I know you're fond of this one and Papillon. My rose struggling ways meant this wasn't a love. But oh yes 😍 there are some gorgeous ones Hera, Dryad and Anubis are incredible. Haha my first ever intro to Indie was definitely not your favourite brand
