Mystery & Imagination - Room Thirteen (Audio Only)

A home audio recording of the now missing adaptation of M.R. James's 'Number Thirteen' - renamed 'Room Thirteen' here - from the 1960s supernatural anthology series 'Mystery and Imagination' produced by Jonathan Alwyn for ABC.
I have no information on who made these tape recordings or how they were recovered, they were simply passed on to me some years ago by a fellow ghost story enthusiast. The sound quality, as supplied to me, is far from perfect - this episode is missing its opening - and there is background noise at times, but as a record of a sadly lost episode from a well regarded and well remembered series, I thought it worth sharing anyway. For those interested in learning more about the series, the surviving episodes, plus a brief clip from the lost adaptation of 'Casting the Runes', have been released on DVD by Network, with an accompanying booklet detailing the background to the series and a full episode guide.
