A lot of my moments in the past few days have been thinking about this case, I do not know anyone involved. It's just a sickening act and I truly don't believe that anyone thought she would die but I do think that at least some of the participants knew that they were going to hurt her really badly. Intent matters but when this young woman refused to fight back that original intent to just fight (if that's all it was) goes out the window. Then to refuse her care is an extra level of evil. If you're tough enough to jump a naked woman who refuses to fight you back with a room full of backup for yourself then you should be tough enough to accept the consequences of letting a real medical professional take care of them after the "fight".
