I used this Backpack for 2 months straight and these are my thoughts about why you might want to consider it as your new EDC Backpack.

This is how a bag review is done. You could be giving master classes.

Great review. Production quality is so high too, can’t believe I’m only the first comment! Now with Yeti acquiring MRanch I’m hoping nothing changes quality wise.

I'm deciding between this and the Aer Pro Pack 24L. A dedicated laptop compartment is essential. The top-heavy nature of this bag is kind of annoying especially if it is not fully packed. With the Aer PP24 I have heard mixed comments regarding the vallet pocket at the top and the double-sided flimsy feeling dividers in it.

If it was me I would go with the Mystery Ranch. The zippers on the front of the pack of the AER are not water proof. Only the laptop zipper is. Hope this helps 🤙🏼

is this bag large enough to carry some of my kids stuff in like coats and bottles and their snacks as well as mine or should i look for something larger? ...i've got 3 under 5yrs old. My wife and I aren't going on long hikes but would like a nice bag i could take to the office/parks/shorttt hikes.

@mattwoods9181 I’ve got 3 under 7 and if you are looking to use it for hiking and a daddy diaper bag it could work as both. The Gallagator 25 might work as well. Jackets take up a lot of room! Hope it helps! 🤙🏼

Kordova? Never heard of It i have two packs over $300 each made of 500D cities nylon neither one if them even lasted two years because if tears in the fabric because if the friction from the DC class 10 you zippers. Yet the other bags I have are made if 1000D corners and they are still like brand new I have never felt the extra weight but I can feel its durable nature. They do this on purpose so the bags can wear out sooner and you have to buy a new one..

This would be a much better review if you actually went through your daily use for this and all of the stuff that you actually carry. Nobody cares about a big jacket and some pens in the pockets. This is not what people are looking for in a review. You say that you use it to carry computer equipment and only show a camera stick come out of it. How big is your laptop? Show it in the bag! All of the info you provide can be found on the website. Appreciate your time putting the video together though.

Mystery Ranch is one of the BEST in quality, durability, and comfortable load-carrying backpacks. All backed by a stellar Lifetime Warranty program and in-house Repairs Department. Once I was introduced to Mystery Ranch, I never bought a backpack from anyone else. I own 4 different models, and they're the finest backpacks I own. I use the District-18 as my daily business / technical backpack. I use the MR Scree-32 for my hiking Daypack...fantastic Daypack with capacity to support a single overnight if needed.

@@EventheWavesYT - Not really...I'm covered on all bases, when it comes to backpacks. I have the MR Bridger-65 for multi-day treks and camp...and just got the RADIX-47...the RADIX series being MR's lightest weight backpacks without sacrificing MR comfort and durability; that one intended for longer treks / section hiking. I took advantage of the 25% off Mystery Ranch President's Day sale on the RADIX. Exercised patience and bought all of them on 20% discounts when I'd see them.

You think it’s worth getting this over the 2 day assault pack with the futura harness for everyday use ?
@EventheWavesYT
@EventheWavesYT 6 ай бұрын
Hey! It totally depends on your needs. For everyday use I don’t want my bag to look tactical. People know that tactical gear costs money (more likely to be stolen). Second the harness is nice on the assault pack but how many miles are you putting in for your everyday pack? If it’s just to carry from here to there and you are slinging it over a shoulder the harness will be more than enough. If you want a smaller bag for backpacking then the assault might be better if you want a truly dual purpose bag. But remember the assault is still only 27L. Backpacking in anything under 40 means SUPER ultralight. Hope that helps! 🤙🏼

Thanks for the tips, find myself walking atleast 5-10km a day, so many people are recommending the 2DAP. But the tactical looks is really putting me off
@EventheWavesYT

@HenryHHHz14 totally understand! With the amount of miles I’ve put on this pack, I think the harness is totally good for long commuting days!
