Thank you for this video. I was stuck between those two backpacks and didn't know which one to choose. Unfortunately, I'll now get neither tbh. I like the space of the 24L one but I'm missing the Molle, Sternum strap and the key clip of the 21L version then.

I have a 21, it'd be perfect if it had the external bottle pockets.

@@Daralantan fwiw.. I swapped out the 21 for a 24.. not much bigger but its vastly more versatile.

@@dash8465 I thought size probably wouldn't be too bad. But I did at least like the key holder and sliding straps more so. What's more is also I was looking at a 21 in clearance sale for $80 so it's much nicer on the wallet!

For me the 21 seemed like the better option between the two. Looked nicer than the 24, the water bottle pocket in the 24 wasn't all that great, and I didn't carry around a laptop that often to need a dedicated access.

I think the best thing would be if there was some way to attach a bottle holder to it (outside of DIY..... guess I'll be doing that when mine arrives!)

Great review, best was the side by side comparo on direct light. Easy to see whats the advantage of each. Got the 21L after this review.

The UA 21 wood wax is my fav bag...I am not a fan of water bottle pockets or separate laptop zip spaces for my Macbooks....keepin it simple.

After looking at this i dont need the laptop compartment on the 24 but i want the water bottle compartment... Guess i,ll wait for chz26 reviews when it comes out and i,ll see if i am gonna get it..

I am more leaning towards the UA24 but I am concerned that it might not be fit a personal item for flying. Have you ever used the UA24 as personal item?

I'll never understand not putting at least one water bottle pocket on an edc bag. It makes absolutely not sense. MR does so much great. But they always have at least 1 or 2 head scratchers with every bag.

Love the size of the 21, but not having even one watter bottle stash pocket is a dealbreaker.

Can you tell me if the main compartments on both bags are the same? I dont usually carry a laptop so dont nessecarily need a seperate laptop compartment. The video review of the UA24 showed the packing of the main compartment clearly and i was wondering if the packing is the same on the UA21? Peak Desifn Packing cube Medium and Small X 2. Thanks
