When I was a kid, I loved animals. As a teenager, I read some wolf books and that cemented wolves as my favorite animal. The two formative books for me as a furry were White Fang and Julie's Wolf Pack. (The third book in the Julie of the Wolves series.) In Julie of the Wolves, an Inuit girl gets lost on the arctic tundra and has to befriend a pack of wolves to survive. She picked names for them, and she named the alpha male Amaroq. I originally called myself CoolSteve64, because... that's all I could think of, and the 64 was because I loved nintendo 64. But eventually when games let/made me name characters, I would name them Amaroq, and other names of wolves from that series if I had to assign more than one name. I later found out that Amaroq is actually an Inuit word for "wolf", and also a native-American wolf god. So it's actually a triple wolf reference!

Wolf books: I recommend "The Sight" by David Clement Davies. I blame the animated Balto movie and, oddly, "Cave of the Clan Bears" for me latching onto wolves in particular.

Hehe. I've read that one too! What a ridiculously tragic ending... I also recommend Kazan: Father of Baree, as far as books that take place from the wolf's perspective. But also the Firekeeper saga by Jane Lindskold. It's about a girl raised by talking wolves. As part of a promise to her deceased mother, the wolves must bring her back to human society and let her choose which world she wants to live in. There's 6 books in the series: Through Wolf's Eyes. Wolf's Head, Wolf's Heart. The Dragon of Despair. Wolf Captured. Wolf Hunting. Wolf's Blood.

My username has a... unique history, I believe. I picked it out when I was 9 and, since I can't think of anything else, bam! Here it is. And my 9 year old self picked it out from the classic show, "Foster's home for imaginary friends." If you'll recall (which I doubt), there is an episode where Blue names a part of his body and calls it an imaginary friend. Mac, to mock them, draws a face on his hand and has it say, "Hello, I'm stupid hand." Which causes everyone to think that it is alive and moving. When the original game for Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends came out (you know, the one on Cartoon Network's website), I decided to, in a spurt of uninspiration, steal the name Stupidhand... which was already taken, so I added my lucky number "14" to the end of it. And thus Stupidhand14 was christened, and has been a way to troll people who don't want to call me "stupid" as short hand. If you're wondering why this username has 15 on it... consider it a typo.

Emphasizes the slight acronym-heavy focus of the saga, which heavily features machinery, parts and the such, with lengthy, technical names, reminscent of US war material designations. It's actually an acronym within another, with the name expanding into a 'fuller' name that contains one acronym further. Specifically, the naming scheme is attached to a certain race of not-quite 'artificial' life, wherein the base word is based on a full word, vowels removed, and then backronymed, with each letter being set as close as possible either to their base word, their role, or something that describes them. There's actually only three named instances of this race (excluding the progenitor, Snpr EX1 (obviously, experimental) and, as is my fashion, I routinely forget and have to rediscover or entirely re-do the names for the other two (Rckt, based on 'Rocket" (and in a surprise twist, a pacifist with a world-ending device inside his belly) and FLKN (Based on a plane from Ace Combat called FALKEN, meant to refer to his outlandish role as a living weapon aboard a spacecraft, as well as referencing his 'generation' within the race, which specializes in lasers- which the ADFX-01 FALKEN is well-known in Ace Combat for) But I do know Snpr's! "Generations" are sort of like 'series' of these things- they're artificial bodies, but not artificial in the sense of a robot, more vat-grown, for the organic bits, with a real Spirit, rather than a cold, uncaring AI- and Snpr belongs to the First, having the additional honour of the very first of the First! The First is infamous for its Master of All Trades approach, but were originally renowned for sniper warfare as well as close combat terror tactics, the latter of which (terror) a sniper instills, so the base name fits both of these. As well, he has three signature weapons, one of which is a sniper! For his name, the expanded name is "System Nanobot Persona R.A.G.E Mark Seven First Generation Combat BA" (Snpr Mk.VII CBA) with "R.A.G.E." expanding into "Rage Augmented Generation Energy," referring to a device irreversibly melded onto his spine, of terrible destructive power in the mere presence of Purestrain Human (original Humans from Earth)- an untold horrors if in contact with a living Purestrain. "System" is linked in part to "Nanobot," which refer to the race itself and specifically to the First Generation, known for regenerative properties additionally, as well as to itself, referring to what amounts to a series of stances that minutely tweak the fighting style, primarily close combat, of the unit itself. I'm not a whole big fan of Mystery Skull's music videos (mostly because it seems like complete fandom bait but I'll avoid that topic) I love the how the animation bounces to beat for every second of the video, I really really liked that. What I didn't really like was the whole narrative and "revenge" and "tragic love" type story just didn't seem to work for me. saiavinn actually comes from my early amateur game-making dreams. The "Sai Avinn" or "Crystal Mothers" were the creators of your theoretical playable characters, with each different kind passing a trait, their Gift, to her spawn. I was aiming for an MMO kind of thing with a lot of mixing possibilities. When I finally made my KZbin account, that dream game was very prominent in my mind at the time, and I liked the idea of having a username that no one else would ever have on any site, so I could use it as my handle anywhere, so I just mashed it together and left it lowercase for style. Mine is just my Persona's name, which came from my ORIGINAL channel name. I had been planning on being 'TailsDollSpin' and my icon would be a modified Tails Doll (my favorite creepypasta) nicknamed 'Spinner'. One day I was designing my persona and I needed a name, and then I thought 'Hey, Why not use Spinner as her name instead of my actual name? I thought that the video was a great example of the use of screen direction. In the first half of the video when they team is going deeper into the mansion, all motion happens from right-to-left (This includes the van as it drives towards the mansion.) Then, while they are fleeing the mansion, all motion (aside from the scoody-doo hallway) happen from left-to-right (which, again, includes the van as it drives away from the mansion.)

+CloudCuckooCountry Screen direction is something I didn't think to pay attention to, although sometimes I question as to whether I should draw something facing left or right. But yes, if I had noticed this I would have mentioned it since it is important from both a consistency and a visual storytelling standpoint.

I made my account when I was in middle school. I was in my weeb stage. I worked really hard on coming up with the name "Kairi" and "Yajuu" was just a Google search for what the word "beast" was in Japanese. I've decided to keep it because despite it's not-so-cool-and-original roots, it's still a pretty cool and original name and I wouldn't change it for the world.

I've always been into Pokemon so Pikachu is a given in all my usernames. The hungry came from Pikachu's love of ketchup in the anime and I imagined Pikachu just downing bottles of the stuff.

My original "Username" was Vuk not only because My favorite novel by the same name, but also from the fact that games had 3 letter limits in naming oneself, so I picked Vuk. Then it evolved to Vuk91 as soon as I established My first E-Mail, since simply "Vuk" was not valid,so I had to pock from the suggestions. It became Vuk Tempest recently, as It was the name I could pick on Second Life back in 2010.

I fell asleep and my Deity bestowed upon me a name: Kenik, this name is very multifaceted. Ken Meaning dog, implies extreme loyalty, but also a tendency to smell bad(seriously why?), Ik means Human, or rather Human male, (It'd be An for female human), this means I'm expected to be wise, but also arrogant. Somewhere down the line the name Kress got tacked on at the end. This means "Lord", or "Of Nobility" and implies that I am Of leadership material, but often blind to the faults of my kin. I've been using this name for awhile now. And I love giving its description out, kinda like describing the butt tattoos from a certain show we know. As for my stupid looking avatar, when I was like 16 I had a long day of running around doing stuff, and realized there was no mark for magical hazards, so I drew it as quick as I could, you can tell I was tired, because in the source image "Hazard" has an extra Z.

My name started with a misstranslation. I was looking for a nickname and asked a friend how do we translate "épouvantail" (scarecrow) in english. He watched in a translation dictionnary and found "bogy" in the propositions. I immediately found it great and kept it since (even if i found it in the same book i'm still not sure why it's a possible translation ^^'). The SC is actualy an abreviation of ScareCrow so it's a bit redundant but I put it when Bogy is already taken.
