Mystery solved.

Turns out it was two guys in a great big rubber suit all along. Had us all fooled for 90 years to the day.
Today is the 90th anniversary of Aldie Mackay & her husband spotting a whale like animal in the loch, the first sighting to gain worldwide attention and to give Nessie the unflattering Moniker '' Monster ''.
