on that jig your supposed to hook the weed guard on the barb on the hook, then it won’t get in the way

lol. I have a few people telling me that. I put it under the barb in the video but it left the point of the hook exposed. I hear that's the way it is supposed to be, but it just doesn't make sense to me why the guard would leave an exposed hook tip. Any other bait I've seen with a guard under the barb does not leave the tip exposed. Either way thanks a ton for the comment and watching the video! Means a lot to me.

Some people are just naturally color blind like myself!! It doesn't matter how much anyone tries to teach you or you teach yourself simply just seeing some colors or most if just a pain for people like myself and I'm 37yrs old! But I've learned a little bit of ways to tell some colors from others.. great box also!! I just got a bit annoyed with the kinda disrespect for those who are just natural color blind!! But regardless I like your videos keep up the great work!! Some nice baits really hope to get those biobugs if I spilled that correctly lol it's 5am so I'm exhausted well thanks for the video tights lines

James Leary never meant any disrespect. 3 members of my family are colorblind as well. I’ll definitely be more sensitive to that in the future. It’s really easy to just speak off the cuff on these videos since there is not a script to look over before shooting. I will definitely try harder in the future and think about what I say before I say it. Again, I never meant to offend anyone. Just trying to make the best video I can for everyone to watch. Actually with that metal weed guard on the jig.It goes under the hook not on top.therefore making it calapse easier.

Here in New Jersey we have what they call 'cedar water', which is pretty much black. I've only had luck with dark colored baits. But I'll try anything... I'll let you know what happens.

The standup jig head has a "wire brush gard" and it does go under the barb of the Hook will colapse down to expose the hookpoint on a bite. Thinking outside the box. The vilebug has those ports/holes on the body and those are excelent to fill with a gel fish attractent.

I thought the same thing about the brush guard but even underneath it still left the point of the hook exposed. I tried it underneath on the video but once the hook was exposed I thought maybe it was just a bad design. Who knows. It will still catch tons of fish. I might clip it with some wire cutters and use it old fashion style. And I can see your point on the vile bug. That would hold gel really nice. I bet those holes move a lot of water underneath the surface. Maybe put some gel in every other hole. Thanks so much for the comment. It is more or less snag reducing not snag proof. im actually looking to add my name to the hat of anglers with youtube channels. But I have a different take on my content. I only ordered my first ever mail order box this past week. Waiting on it impatiently lol.
