I’d rather watch these than the modern stuff. Even the commercials are entertaining.

I feel the same way. Modern "entertainment" is now saturated with an ungodly and demented outlook on life: women are no longer women, people curse, blaspheme and use fowl language, people dress in demented ways, tattoos and gross piercings, abominable relationships, juvenile leftist messages and sentiments are parroted. It has officially become too corrupt for me to watch.

I love Tom Conway's distinguished voice & accent. To hear him repeatedly say, "thank you," even in Hitchcock's The Glass Eye, I often click rewind. Thanks for this enjoyable upload.

The sound quality of this episode is marred by background racket unrelated to the story.
@MoviecraftInc4 ай бұрын
Yes, you are correct. This 72 year old 16mm film has the dreaded "rust spot" deterioration. You can see the spots in the beginning of the titles in the picture area. These spots have migrated to the soundtrack and causes noise in the soundtrack. This is probably due to inadequate washing when the film was processed 70 plus years ago. We used 2 filters in Adobe Premier to tone down the noise, but since this is more than likely the only surviving film print of this episode, as they say "it is what it is."
