Just normal plain shorts maybe rolled cuffs but that way the attention is on the shirt and the length of the shorts points you that way 😊 if that makes sense lol

It’s currently 3am in New Zealand and I’m up with my 1 month year old breastfeeding! 😊 That two piece is 👌🏻🙌🏻 Unbutton the last two bottom buttons and tie it! And pull up the skirt a little higher and boom not so corporate looking! And the headband was a good idea!!! And I’m I LOOOVE the outfit with the purple jumper & gold slip skirt! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

For the yellow button down with the collar that you really liked but couldn’t figure out what jeans to wear, I’d try some high waisted denim shorts so that the distance between the end of the bottom of the shirt and the hem of the bottoms is shortened then you could unbutton a few of the bottoms buttons to show off whatever belt you chose to wear with the shorts!
