When you mentioned “Genuine Fraud” and how it is told backwards, I instantly thought of the movie “Memento” it follows a guy who has memory lost and he is searching for is wife’s murder. It switches back and forth between the present, which is in black and white, and past, which is in color. The present moving in chronological order and the past is set up kind of like “Genuine Fraud.” It’s a really interesting movie that you might be interested in.

Hearing you talk about the Charlotte Holmes series warmed my heart. I grew up with the Sherlock Holmes mysteries, and I am a long time Sherlockian/ Doylean scholar. They are not only my favorite classics, but such a comfort in my life. On a bad day, sometimes I’ll just crack open one of my many editions, solve a mystery with my beloved Holmes and Watson, and feel so much better. Based on how you described Charlotte and Jamie, the author seems to have recreated and payed homage to the iconic friendship so well. I absolutely need to prioritize reading the series.

Genuine Fraud's format reminds me of the movie Memento which I LOVE! It is about a man who is tracking down his wife's murderer, but he suffers from memory loss, so since the story is going backwards both the protagonist and the audience "can't remember" what he did earlier until we go back a scene. Hard to explain, but it's really well done!

I don’t exactly remember if you’ve said you have also struggled with it and have great coping mechanisms so you can push past it, but I was wondering if you could a video on really practical ways to deal with anxiety and how to push past to live life everyday the best possible way ? Thank you :) Also, you look amazing and I loved the book recommendations!
@anyrarahman54815 жыл бұрын
I have some :) when you feel the clammy feeling of anxiety all of a sudden, just focus on what's happening in front of you. That could be someone talking, or a tv show, or the meal in front of you when you're in a tense family talk. Focus all your energy into that thing. If you are able, go to the bathroom. Sit on the toilet, and close your eyes. Imagine a few key things. Things that really matter in the long run. For me, i imagine materialistic things i want to buy when i grow older. It can be anything. Your cat, your mom, your jewelry ffs. Imagine those things, and feel yourself finding your ground. This is a sort of bigger one. When you've had a very anxiety filled day, and you feel slightly unhinged, talk to an internet friend. It helps you look at your life from a bird's eye view because that friend is so far away. Hope this helped.

I think it is available everywhere, I'm from the UK soo.
