I’m so in love with Kit, I had the same exact reaction as you, I knew she was gay from basically page one. Malibu Rising broke my heart and One Last Stop was so fun! Love seeing your thoughts as they were also two of my most anticipated reads and we almost always have the same opinions! Also, I think I understand what you mean about Malibu Rising missing something, I think it’s because it’s more character based as not as plot filled as Eleanor and Daisy, but honestly I think that’s what made it endearing to me.

I feel like saying Malibu Rising isn’t as grand is the PERFECT way to say it! I did the audiobook for that one and I found it extra stressful because I couldn’t see how short the chapters were so I was on the edge of my seat just waiting to see when the perspective would switch. I also called Kit from the beginning. I liked seeing the realization form and then having her friend be supportive of her right away. Random, but do you like your chai on the sweeter side or the spicier side? I’m a spicier chai fan so I’m always curious how other people prefer theirs.

That same thing happened to my car, every time I slowed down to a stop my engine would just shut off and I have to shift it to park take out the key and start the car again and I had to keep on doing that every time I stopped anywhere : stop light, stop sign, for traffic until I reached the mechanics. It was terrifying , I was told it was 2 of my spark plugs wearing down/not working properly so I replaced them but that is so scary to happen in the middle of the road

Is it a Hyundai Accent? I have a 2016 accent and am a mechanic and for some unknown reason mine does the same thing as yours. My hypothesis is that its because of the eco setting sporadically restraining too much gas causing it to stall. It never happens when i dont have eco on.
