18:17 I picked up one of these with a gold plated case and wine-red dial for 20 bucks or so at an antique store for my little sister. It was in perfect shape, only issue was the misaligned band like yours, which I fixed. Runs great and very beautiful little piece.

Thanks, the watch runs 10 seconds slow per day which is amazing. The band is fine. It literally took me 10 seconds to straighten. I polished the crystal and the watch looks great. By far it’s an under appreciated watch

Hey man, so is it okay to go thrift stores and buy mystery watch bags? There's a probability of getting scammed right? How much does it usually cost for a watch bag? Could I buy an individual watch in the store?

@@dyinghog4149 yes it depends on the store. All the stores are different. Most let you buy just one watch. I like to pay around $20 per bag. You can always get scammed

Yes it’s a no name Swiss 21 jewels movement. In my experience only the men’s ones have the Rolex movements. I have had a lot of the ladies ones and never a Rolex movement

@@vintagesterlingfinds fair play, I'll be honest typically I find it incredibly hard to find anything with a major name brand, like Rolex or Omega but occasionally I get lucky with lesser known brands but its very occasional. Honestly I find the best way is to look for collectable Seiko's or Casio's and snap them up because people just typically get rid of them.

Your Dan Henry exchange makes you look like an extortionist. There is a fine line between you asking and being politely decline and you politely replying you may check eventually the brand to blackmail the company saying if they don’t send you a watch you will have bad reviews
