Also, in case anyone's interested, I think the pictures that light up and scream are supposed to represent onryo, or angry spirits, like the ones in "The Grudge" and "The Ring". Most of them looked like kuchisake-onna (slit-mouthed women) to me.

The theming looks pretty good on this ride- much more cohesive and atmospheric than most "scary" dark rides. The commentary is distracting and obnoxious though. :/ But thanks for sharing the video, it's rather nice with the mute button on.

great ride if take the time educate yourself in Japanese folklore, learn what ride was about. Learn based on folklore of underworld, of the sins you cast in life that be done to you in death. and the fends that you may face in death are to judge you for your crimes. Great vid but, but show little more respect, and learn about the cultures of some places if they have rides like this.
